Much like drafting the perfect play, creating the right Facebook Ad to suit your needs is essential to your strategy. As a real estate professional, you can showcase any facet of your business with an ad.

Want to drive traffic to your new and improved Homes.com website? There’s an ad for that. Want to promote your open house on Saturday? There’s an ad for that too. There’s even an ad you can run to bring more viewers (and potential buyers and clients) to your virtual tours!

Once you’ve drafted the perfect play, it’s time to take it to the field and execute! Selecting the people you want to reach by zip code, purchase behavior, interests, age, or gender will help you build an ad to achieve the results you want, and to help deliver serious prospects to you.

Along with executing this perfect play, you need to set your budget for your ad, and for how long it will run. My advice is to start monetarily small, carefully measure your results, and work up from there. I also recommend running ads for short periods of time: this makes the ad more prominent because it is trying to source to the most amount of pre-selected targets as it can, in a short amount of time. One of my favorite aspects of Facebook ads is that for a small investment, you can make a big impression and attract new potential that may not have been there without the ad.

Footage Analysis

After a big game, watching the field footage is crucial to understanding what plays performed well, and identifying any opportunities. A great feature of Facebook ads allows you  to review the results so that you know where to target your ads for the next go round. Another great feature is that any new engagement to the business page itself will be reflected in your insights tab, so you can see how your audience has changed as a result of your ad.
