- Update your profile.
Your phone number, email address, website, social links, brokerage, headshot, and bio all have a spot in your agent profile page on Homes.com. Log in to your account and make sure this information is all current. If you make changes, be sure to click the “Save” button.
- Make sure your profile and listings are live.
You don’t have to display your profile on Homes.com, but if you don’t, your potential leads can’t learn more about you. Make sure your profile is listed in the agent directory and your listings are live on Homes.com. Click on the “View Homes.com Profile” button to inventory your current listings. If none of your listings are present, make sure your agent ID is logged in your account. If you’re missing some of your listings, make sure they’re marked as active, not pending in the MLS.
- Check your coverage areas.
You can list your profile in up to five cities. Type the city, state in the provided box to join the agent directory in that area.
- Upload your contacts into your Contact Manager.
Your Homes.com account has a lot of great contact management tools, but you have to have contacts before you can really use them. Click on the Setup option in your Leads & Contacts center to access the “Import Contacts” option.
- Organize your contacts into manageable lists.
At some point, before or after you upload your contacts is up to you, you’ll want to organize them into lists. This will make it easier to take advantage of the various drip email campaigns and send bulk emails to your lists. Choose from the provided list of contact categories or create your own categories in the Setup section of the Leads & Contacts manager.
- Enroll your contacts in the free monthly newsletter.
Your account also includes a free monthly newsletter. Find it in the Email Marketing section of the apps menu. From here you can enroll your contacts, edit the content, and manage your settings for the free newsletter.
