Over the last few months we’ve been overhauling your dashboard to make it faster, easier to use, and mobile friendly. Some of the features that have already been upgraded include the open houses, listing manager, and lead and contact center. Now Featured Searches has joined the ranks of newly improved dashboard pages.
Featured searches are a great way to highlight communities, niches, and important area searches on your website. Now it’s easier to add, remove, edit, and organize your featured searches from any device.
In addition to being able to edit or remove individual featured searches, you can decide to hide featured searches from the public or to view them on your website.
How to Create a New Featured Search
Creating new featured searches for your website is easy with the upgraded Featured Searches Manager. Just click the “Add New” button to launch the step-by-step guide.
Step 1: Add Search Information
In step one you can add information about your featured search. This information will include what you want to call it as well as any search criteria you would like to set.
Step 2: Photo
In the second step you can select an image to represent your featured search. Choose from one of the images provided or upload your own.
Step 3: Descriptions
In step three you can add descriptions so your visitors will understand what makes your featured search special or helpful.
Step 4: SEO Fields
The final step, SEO Fields, is to help your featured search show up higher in search results. We’ll pre-fill these fields with some basic information from your search criteria but if you want to customize your SEO fields, just type your information into the boxes provided!
