Showcasing your endorsements and client testimonials is an important part of building your online reputation. Now, you can add and share endorsements on your Homes.com agent or office profile. Find the steps to get started as well as endorsement best practices below!
Getting Started
To add endorsements to your Homes.com profile, log in to your account’s dashboard. From here, you will select the menu button and click on “Homes.com Endorsements” under the “Your Profile” section.
From this page, you will be able to invite past clients, colleagues, and friends to write an endorsement. Simply click on the “Request Endorsements” button near the top of the page. You can either start typing to select a contact from your Contact Manager or manually enter the email address of the person you want to invite to endorse you.
A default message will be populated in your request or you can add your own message for your endorser. Once you’re happy with your endorsement request, click “Send Request(s)” and confirm to email your endorsement request.
The endorsement request email will take your endorsers to a form where they will be asked what they accomplished with your help, where you/they are located, any specialties of yours they endorse, and their experience working with you. Once they submit your endorsement, we will send you an email letting you know it has been submitted and is awaiting your approval.
Specialties
Specialties allow you to highlight what you do best. Communication, Local Expertise, and Professionalism will always be listed as specialties endorsers can select, but you choose which of the other 34 specialties you want to display on your endorsement request form. To edit which specialties are enabled on your form, click on the “Edit Specialties” section and make sure your choices are marked with the orange slider.
Approving Your Endorsements
Once you receive our email letting you know there is an email waiting for your approval, simply click on the “View Endorsement” button to be taken to your account to approve the endorsement or login to your dashboard and navigate to the endorsements section. From here, you will be able to read the endorsement and decide whether to approve or remove the endorsement. Once approved, the endorsement will be displayed on your Homes.com profile and, if you have one, your Homes.com powered Fusion Website.
