Erin Ruane, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales

With more than 20 years of experience in traditional and digital real estate marketing and advertising, Erin Ruane is responsible for sales, marketing and customer service for Homes.com, a division of Dominion Enterprises.

Most recently, Erin served as Homes.com’s Executive Director of Business Initiatives, leading the efforts in establishing Homes.com as a resource for renters and a tool for property managers. She helped create a variety of advertising products available to professionals wanting to reach the rentals audience. In this role, Erin also oversaw the mortgage, Key Accounts and homebuilder divisions.

Prior to joining Homes.com, Erin began her career marketing new homes to real estate agents for John Wieland Homes & Neighborhoods and Ashton Woods Homes in the Atlanta, Ga. market. In 2000, she joined Dominion’s predecessor, Trader Publishing Company, serving as marketing manager for HarmonHomes.com. In 2002, Erin moved into a sales and operational management role as a vice president for Harmon Media Group. During her tenure with Harmon, Erin consulted with hundreds of agents and brokers on their marketing strategies in small and large group settings. Prior to rejoining Dominion, Erin served as director of digital advertising sales for LIN Media (now Nexstar), the largest TV station operator in the U.S. Erin also spent time in the agency business consulting with business owners and marketers, working to grow their business through traditional and digital strategies.

A graduate of Old Dominion University, Erin lives in Virginia Beach with her husband and two daughters.
